The Coffee Jar Vs The Coffee Mug
I was surprised to discover how many students in my class were interested in collecting coffee jars. During the semester, I asked them to make one of these artisanal brews. Some of them said they would love to use it as a storage container, but I told them I had other ideas. I also suggested that they buy a coffee preserving jar to store their brews in. I had a similar idea, but the brewing ware was made of glass. I bought one of these because I thought it was a great design.
First, I found a stainless steel canister that holds about one pound of coffee and I love its design. The canister is also dishwasher-safe and has a one-way valve for carbon dioxide venting. I find that this keeps my coffee fresher for longer. I also really like the bamboo lids, which are very stylish. Lastly, I bought a matching set of brewing jars. I’m so excited to get my hands on them!
The second option is the coffee jar. I think I like these a lot more, but I still don’t want to invest in a whole new coffee-brewing setup. The coffee jar is the perfect way to keep your coffee at room temperature while still making your morning cup of Joe. A brewing jug that looks good while holding your brewed coffee is a great addition to your kitchen. A jug is the perfect size for a mug, and a mug is a good size for a brew.
